Appointments are weekly, often up to an hour, with 24/7 text access between visits.
Benzodiazepine & Z-Drug Tapering
Benzodiazepine tapering is the primary focus of Dr. Leeds’ practice. Using the Ashton Manual crossover protocol, hyperbolic tapering, the Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines, and compound pharmacy liquid formulations, Dr. Leeds provides safe, individualized tapering for patients with physical dependence on prescribed benzodiazepines and z-drugs.
Physical dependence on a prescribed medication is not addiction. Patients who took benzodiazepines as directed by their physicians deserve proper medical tapering — not addiction recovery programming.
