Services Provided by Mark Leeds, D.O.

Dr. Leeds provides concierge telemedicine services throughout Florida, specializing in medication tapering and deprescribing. Every patient works directly with Dr. Leeds at every appointment — no handoffs to coaches, nurse practitioners, or other staff. Appointments are weekly, often up to an hour, with 24/7 text access between visits.

Benzodiazepine & Z-Drug Tapering

Benzodiazepine tapering is the primary focus of Dr. Leeds’ practice. Using the Ashton Manual crossover protocol, hyperbolic tapering, the Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines, and compound pharmacy liquid formulations, Dr. Leeds provides safe, individualized tapering for patients with physical dependence on prescribed benzodiazepines and z-drugs.

Physical dependence on a prescribed medication is not addiction. Patients who took benzodiazepines as directed by their physicians deserve proper medical tapering — not addiction recovery programming.

Psychiatric Medication Deprescribing

Dr. Leeds helps patients safely taper SSRIs, SNRIs, gabapentinoids, and antipsychotics using the same evidence-based principles: hyperbolic tapering, the Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines, and compound pharmacy formulations for precise dosing.

Opioid Dependence Treatment

Dr. Leeds provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid dependence using buprenorphine products. Physical dependence on opioids is a medical condition, not a moral failing — many patients develop dependence through prescribed opioid use for chronic pain.

Alcohol Use Disorder Treatment

Dr. Leeds offers the Sinclair Method (TSM) using naltrexone — a pharmacological approach that gradually reduces cravings and consumption without requiring abstinence to begin treatment. Naltrexone can also be used as a daily medication for abstinence-based approaches.
