Can we cancel heroin?
What does it mean to cancel heroin? It means for all of us to get together as a community and make a commitment to put an end to this deadly drug. We can do this worldwide through social media. All it takes is to promote opioid treatment and stop giving heroin undeserved attention in the media spotlight. Read on to see what else we can do.
The Canceling Trend.
Lately, celebrities are finding themselves being canceled. This can happen when they say or do things that are socially unacceptable. The online community declares a boycott. If the message resonates, it will spread virally. #Cancel campaigns spread quickly around the world.
How can we cancel heroin?
This is easy. We need to get the word out. Start by getting the attention of your social media network. Post the hashtag: #cancelheroin. That’s all it takes to get started. And, then you are ready to take the next step.
Ask social influencers to get on board.
Many of us have social influencers in our network of friends and colleagues. These are people who have a huge audience that listens when they speak. Reach out to these influencers and ask your friends to do so as well. As soon as enough major influencers join the campaign, our message will be heard worldwide.
No one will disagree.
While we may all have varying political views and preferences, no one can disagree that heroin must be canceled. It must end. Too many have died already because of heroin. In fact, even the active users of heroin would agree that this drug must go away. That is why I know this can work. We just need to believe that we can make a difference and then take action.
#cancelheroin starts here.
